                        Dear Mr Weisner,

                                   How wonderful to have achieved 80 years of life! They were not all easy years but I am happy to have lived them in a dignified way. My most beautiful experience

at this occasion, however, is to feel appreciated and supported by so many people.

It was a great joy for me to receive your warm congratulations on my 80th

birthday and I thank you very much. I received an overwhelming amount of

birthday greetings, and you will surely understand that I cannot thank everyone

of you with a personalized letter.

Also in the ninth decade of my life and as long as strength and good health will be

granted to me I shall commit myself to the Global Ethic Foundation. This

Foundation would be happy to receive also your support. At the same time I am

busy writing the third volume of my Memoirs.
